Conservation

A strand of work that is beginning rather than established. This page exists so that it has somewhere honest to grow.

Statement of intent

Growing soon

The same curiosity that produced an evidence audit points naturally outward: fungi are not only a subject of clinical literature but part of living systems — soil, woodland, decay, and the slow work of return.

The Spore Patch intends to develop ecological and conservation work alongside its publishing programme. Nothing is claimed here yet. There are no projects, no land, no partnerships, no grants and no outcomes to report, and none will be described on this site before they exist.

When that work begins, it will be recorded here with the same standard applied to the evidence programme: what was actually done, what it can be said to have achieved, and what remains uncertain.
